South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer announced Tuesday that redshirt freshman LaNorris Sellers has been named the Gamecocks starting quarterback.
Sellers beat out Auburn transfer Robby Ashford and will get the starting nod in the season opener vs. Old Dominion.
