Goalkeeper Stops Playing & Leaves Goal Open During 22-0 Loss

It’s soccer. Who cares.

A keeper is only as good as the rest of his team, and the rest of this team just sucked. They just stood around and let Everton players do pretty much whatever they wanted, no shape or situational awareness at all. This really wasn't on the keeper. I think they were looking at the mountains, which were indeed worth a good look.

Coaching sucks.

Actually looks like his teammates stop playing a long time before the keeper does. If you actually watch the video you see that the keepers (they actually bring a new guy in mid-way through the second half) make quite a few saves even in that condensed clip of the game. Not much you can do when your defense is leaving everyone unguarded in the box taking free runs at you. No keeper is stopping most of those. The cherry on top was the ridiculous own goal towards the end of the game. At that point the keeper was warranted to punch all of his teammates in the face.

That back line sucks arse. I would have pulled out the entire defense, they don't belong on the field.

I agree with him. He should give up goalkeeping.

At all levels I see they act like they just got murdered the second they get touched
