College Football Insider Ross Dellenger of Yahoo Sports reports that Lane Kiffin met with Ole Miss athletic director Keith Carter and chancellor Glenn Boyce for almost three hours at Boyce's residence on Saturday evening.
In the report, Dellenger states that LSU is in the driver's seat to land Kiffin, but the only issue is Ole Miss's postseason run, which Kiffin would like to be part of.
Dellenger also said that LSU officials spoke with Lane Kiffin's agent after the Tigers' game against Oklahoma and plans to send two planes to Oxford on Sunday for Kiffin and his family.

LSU officials believe they hold Kiffin’s commitment to be their next coach, though his desire to continue coaching Ole Miss in the postseason is a snag delaying the formalization of the move, sources tell Yahoo Sports.
The school’s courtship of Kiffin took a serious turn eight days ago, when Yahoo Sports reported that officials were gearing up to propose a seven-year contract exceeding $90 million, plus more than $25 million in guaranteed roster compensation — a salary that would make Kiffin, at the very least, tied for the highest-paid coach in the country.
LSU executives remained confident Saturday — as they have now for a week — and expect the Ole Miss coach to move to Baton Rouge in an inner-conference poaching of one of their biggest SEC rivals.
“If he doesn’t come, we’ve been duped,” says one source with knowledge of Kiffin and LSU’s negotiations.
