Former South Carolina quarterback Robby Ashford has been named the starting quarterback at Wake Forest, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Ashford is in Year 6 of his college career after spending time at Auburn and Orgeron before South Carolina.
He has passed for 2,082 yards and 11 touchdowns with nine interceptions over the past three seasons. He also has 1,154 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns during his college career.
