...just like the movie City Slickers. I've always wanted to take my family to one and curious if anyone here has done it?

Back around 1990 I worked at one near Tucson called Bar None. It was great until this guy named Mr Ernst came down from NJ and bought it. His son was miserable all day complaining about his skateboard and the sand. We had a Hopi Indian guy that was pretty cool and this girl who became an actress and married Ben Stiller. Awesome experience. Go check one out if you can.

The ones in Texas Hill Country are good and if you are looking for a different kind of vacation it is a neat time and off the beaten path kind of thing.
I personally haven't been but know someone that has been to Badera several times and they always keep going back. Real Texas Chuck Wagon BBQ and food options.

I'd second this. Not sure if this is the one Nicholas is talking about but we went to the Mayan Dude Ranch a couple of times back in the 90's. It is in Bandera and run by the Hicks family. Great people and a great family vacation. Horseback riding, tubing down the Medina river, Cowboy breakfast...good time. Highly recommend it.
