Not Europe I know but went to Turkey (cappadocia, Izmir) end of May early June. Honestly, worst part was that the flight itinerary changed no less than 6 times in the weeks before, several canceled with no remorse or valid solutions from the airline (“we can rebook you 4 days later”). It was stressful getting all travel documents in order to get there (Covid questionnaires, testing within window, special travel codes) but the minute we left US soil no one really asked for anything. It was a great trip ultimately, tourists were allowed to roam pretty freely, the hotels accommodated dining when restaurants were closed etc. and it wasn’t crowded. We were supposed to do a week in Greece before but ultimately decided to nix this part logistically as we would have needed COVID testing to move through.

Headed to Italy and several Greek Isles for 22 days on Aug 17.
Honestly, I don’t care if they won’t let me back for awhile.
I’d have a damn blast.

I'm working overseas in Thailand ... the country is on lockdown. Curfew nightly, takeaway/delivery only, Parks and pools closed, no domestic flights and worse of all ---- no massages.

Hopefully going to Italy in second week of September. Changed plans from doing trains throughout the country to renting a camper for 17 days. Did not feel like dealing with any issues just to get from place to place.
We will probably spend 80% of our time in small towns, national parks, etc. anyway.
