Do this tonight for sure. If a guy named Mike is bartending (he will usually introduce himself) don't order off the menu. The guy is by far the best bartender I have ever encountered and can do some amazing things with cocktails. Let him know your tastes and he will likely make you one of the best cocktails you ever had.

They also have solid cajun food, but while your around I'd encourage you to walk down Texas street to the end by the giant church and eat at Parish Taceaux. Really good innovative stuff.

For late night stuff if your still around and interested I like stray cat.

Fatty arbuckles under the bridge is really worth a visit if your a fan of nice whiskeys.
