Hilton Americas near the stadium is great and you can check in and walk to game. Very short, safe walk. Great hotel.
Hilton Americas best asset is the smoked cocktail at the bar. In every other way, the Marriott Marquis (which is closer to Minute Maid) is better:
Lazy river on the roof.
That rooftop pool has a rooftop bar
Biggio’s Sports Bar on the 1st floor
Xochi Mexican restaurant is light years better than Hilton’s Pappacito’s
Across the street from Saltgrass Steakhouse
Closer to Jackson St BBQ
Closer to Irma’s Original (less pricey Mex than Xochi, but better than Pappacito’s)

Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch is a must with kids IMO, we really enjoyed that. May as well hit that the same day as the caverns

Went two months ago with kids and wife
Stayed at Marriott Hill Country resort
Fiesta TX was great. Very scenic and clean and not busy
Check out the Pearl District. Live music, good food and drinks
Natural bridge was cool and we did the safari next door
