Leave after 3 days and do something else. After 72 hours, Vegas will do damage to your relationship and your bank account. Rent a car and go to the Grand Canyon or something

Been to Vegas many times and love it as much anyone but agree with TW's point. For a trip of six days I definitely would recommend going to 1-2 places outside the city. Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, Zion National Park, among others.

Bring comfortable shoes. LOTS of walking in Vegas.

Did the same a few months ago, rented a car for a day since we landed so early anyway. Pick one or two of the sights mentioned already and do that. A million nice places to eat. See a show or two (Absinthe is amazing). High Roller at Linq was cool, a little cheaper on Groupon.

Depends on what you do, but mostly agree. I can't be in vegas more than 3 full days as it's draining for me, but others just go eat, see shows, maybe gamble a little here and there, hit up the pool parties, etc. Hoover Dam isn't bad and it's a 20 minute drive. I'd try to make it to Grand Canyon even though it's a long drive.

Went a few years ago and rented a car at the airport and drove about an hour north to some really cool cabins up in the mountains. Stayed 2 days there. Then back to Vegas for 2 shows, Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon tour via helicopter. Loved doing it this way.

Unless you're there for a convention 6 days is too long for Vegas.

i agree with everyone else, 6 days way too long in vegas. 2 nights/3 days is my max.
also, if travelling with your SO, be prepared for drunk retards to holler at her and such.

I agree with everyone else. More than 3 days in Las Vegas is too long if you are staying on the strip or on Fremont. In August my gf and I drove 2 hours to St George, UT to spend the night. It was very scenic there, and we saw a play at Tuacahn theatre. LINK
One of our favorite restaurants in Las Vegas is Top of Binion's steakhouse. It's on the 24th floor so the views are nice, dimly lit with an older vegas feel to it. Love the chicken fried lobster there. We also like Andiamo's steakhouse at The D on Fremont, also has that old feel to it.
I saw the Cirque show La Reve the Dream at the Wynn, that was impressive.
