Going for a friends wedding in their hometown. Any suggestions on things to do or places you must go to grab a bite to eat? I know they have a casino close by.

Casino has good food. Boiled seafood place behind Chinese place is pretty good. Some people like mexican restaurant and Forest restaurant not bad. Not much to do in Franklin.

Los Mayas is a good Mexican restaurant. You can also hit up Danny's for some amazing fried chicken.

Besides that, I got nothing. It's not a big city so there's not much going on.

things to do in Franklin?...*crickets

Tabasco and the gardens are right up the road near New Iberia

The casino is depressing but there's a decent steakhouse there, casino is maybe a little more lively on the weekend

It's been a while but Mr. Lester's was pretty damn good last time I went.
It's located in the casino.
