The Heathrow Express is nonstop, but if you have time to burn you can take the regular commuter train for much less $. It runs alongside the express tracks, but stops in five or so little communities. I enjoyed riding it and seeing local working folks. Had a nice chat with a teacher who was able to get a drunk off the train after the crew failed.

Every now and then the Express blows by. It’s pretty funny how much faster it’s going.

Makes you wish we had the same in New Orleans. The tracks run right by the old terminal straight downtown to Union Station. Would be way better than taxi cab on I-10 Friday rush hours.

I once knew a guy that rode the bus from MSY to the Quarter just to "get a flavor of new orleans". Uh bro you got a flavor of Vets Parkway on the crusty side of Metairie...

Absolutely Heathrow Express from Paddington. LINK

If you book early you can get a discount. Just pay attention to strikes and make sure they aren’t on your travel day. They seem to give lots of warning before a strike or “industrial action.”
