Surge protectors and multi plug extension cords are not allowed.
A little more clarifying info
quote:
Royal Caribbean completely prohibits all extension cords, power strips (even non-surge protected ones), surge protectors, and any outlet splitters that add extra 110V AC electrical outlets. However, you are allowed to bring multi-port USB wall chargers to maximize your charging options.
What You Can Bring:
-Multi-port USB Chargers: Cubes or blocks that plug directly into the wall and have multiple USB-A or USB-C ports are fully allowed, provided they do not feature any standard electrical outlets.
-European Plug Adapters: Staterooms usually include one European-style 220V outlet. You can use a simple, non-converter European-to-US plug adapter to safely free up this extra space for a standard US plug.
-Safety Certification: All allowable chargers and devices must be stamped with a recognized U.S. or European conformance marking (such as UL, CE, or ETL).
What Is Prohibited:
-Traditional power strips or surge protectors
-Extension cords of any length
-Multi-plug wall adapters that feature regular 110V AC outlets (even the compact "cube" style)
-Personal grooming and heating items like clothing irons, steamers, or open-coil heating devices

This is part of what is confusing people because this is NOT allowed
BUT, this is.
The key to remember is that the cord itself is not banned but it cannot extend the all outlet OR add more outlets. It can only add USB / USB-C plugs.
One tip to remember is to bring a European converter to use the in-room euro outlet to add one extra.
We also bring a couple fans that mount with a magnet to the cabin walls.

Start taking motion sickness pills day before you cruise if you think you’ll be susceptible to it.
Walls/doors are metal so magnets are good to have. We use magnetic hooks that come in handy.
A lanyard to hold your card is nice instead of constantly having to dig it out of your wallet.
