Stuck in Illinois for work this week. I’ll be staying near O’hare since that’s where I have to be for work. Anything worth doing/seeing near there? I’ll only have one extra night so would prefer not to head downtown unless it’s only option.

Go watch a Wolves game at the All State arena...if you are up to Saturday, Joes Live at Rosemont sometimes has concerts.

Have the Cubs started playing yet? A game a Wrigley is fun.

Yeah, I agree with this. Just go to Rivers and gamble.

Going near downtown from O’Hare isn’t worth it, especially since, I would assume, you’d be free once rush hour hits. However, you could potentially try some of the very northernmost neighborhoods.

If you can get to the train, you could take the Blue to like Damen and check out Bucktown/Wicker Park. Tons of bars and restaurants right by the L stop. At least would give you a taste of a Chicago neighborhood.

Yeah, depending on how much free time you have, get a CTA multi-day pass and hit up some places along the Blue line. There are some good food and bar options near the Western and Damen stops. Hit up the Map Room for some beers.
