The Club at MSY

We stopped by The Club before a SW flight to Chicago last week. It's in a good location just past security and the B gates. They were shortstaffed but did a good job of manning the bar and delivering food. The crawfish ettouffe and sliders were good. Below are the menus.

I try to fly delta the majority of the time so I use the skyclub in MSY a lot, but if using another airline I’ll pop into The Club. I’m not a fan of having to get my order delivered to me. In a lounge I want to be able to peruse the selections and grab and go as I please. Small complaint, but really my only knock about it. I’m sure it’s designed that way to decrease the actual amount of food that people eat, keeping the cost lower.

I had the opposite reaction when I was there last month. I thought it was a nice improvement to get my food freshly prepared, instead of some stuff that's been sitting out for a couple of hours.

I like the delivery as well, especially because it's been quick in my experience. Food was pretty awful during COVID rules, thank god they eliminated the restrictions because the food is much better.

I honestly didn’t know they had a menu. I thought what they had on the buffet was all they offered.
Guess my complaints of “they always have the same stuff” weren’t valid.
I’ve eaten that wimpy pita bread and hummus combo too many times.

MSY has a horrible beer selection
