def one of my favorite ski towns. mardi gras isn't huge there but there were several houses on the mountain sporting mardi gras flags along with us. has a much different feel to me than than the CO resort towns. i mean that in a good way. not sure how the resorts are as we rented a house. id def so ski in ski out if you are able.

Other than being a pain in the arse to get to, its my favorite Ski resort/town.

In my view, Telluride is heads and tails above most. The lack of crowds alone make it worthwhile. Even on a powder day, it's pretty much empty. The hike-to terrain is fantastic. And the town is really cool.

I'd say the only downside is that it is pretty sleepy. If you are looking for a super party atmosphere, it is not really the spot.

Wife and I are not big going-outers so I think Telluride will be perfect. Looking for lodging recommendations. Likely going to be just us. Was looking at The Peaks, but would do anything in Telluride proper or Mountain Village.

Probably going to fly to Denver and try to get the DEN->TEX flight to Telluride Airport.

Any must do restaurants? Was going to do Allred's for Valentine's night. Wanted to get the ball rolling soon though before travel and lodging goes through the roof. Gonna do trip insurance in case COVID

We are fairly quiet. Aren't going to be shredding the pow all day to go out and party at night.
