Definitely check out Chapel of the Holy Cross if you can. Beautiful place.

Was just debating on making this our spring break trip this year, I think this thread sealed it.

Will it be warm enough to float the Verde in early April?

Go and have a wonderful anniversary trip.

Sedona is beautiful

Devils bridge is a very popular hike. Not too difficult and amazing views. Make sure to get a red rocks pass for any hiking (you have to have it displayed on your windshield when parking at trailheads). You can get the pass at most gas stations. They will give you a map of various trails, etc with the pass.

Temps there will be perfect next week....highs in the 60s; lows in the 40s.

I highly suggest taking a trip up to Flagstaff. Awesome little mountain town with a cute little downtown area worth walking around. Lots of brew pubs there if you like beer.

ETA: If you are into stars and astronomy any ....Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff might be worth a visit to you. It is where Pluto was “discovered”.

Slide Rock Canyon (Oak Creek) was fun, but it will be too cool for that. Most of the other things that I would recommend have already been mentioned. Horseback riding is cool, too. As close as you are to the Grand Canyon, I would definitely work that in as well if you have time. Love Sedona!

Look up Peter Alan Gersten on Facebook - he guides groups to the top of Bell Rock (at no charge) and has a very interesting story. Send him a FB message to schedule a day/time. You won't regret it - there is no trail to the top and it's absolutely incredible. You'll get lots of great pictures also!

Sedona is one of my favorite places - I can't wait to go back. Devils Bridge is a must see, but keep in mind that it's a very popular hike so it will be crowded. Cathedral Rock is a fun hike/climb - there's just so much to see!

I like going to broken arrow real early before the keeps get there and hike to chicken point.

So many other hikes are great too - definitely my fantasyland.

Also second elotes and the hot air balloon.

If you go with spouse - boots and saddles b&b is fantastic (cowboy room)
