Suggestions for a potential "tropical destination" mother/daughter trip?

She's 24 so not worried about kid things. Just beginning to explore possible options and not sure where the safest/most reasonably priced places are to consider. My happy place is just regular Perdido but considering other options this time.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Or Holbox but that might be a little too out of the way. My wife and daughter did it several years ago and had a blast. I'd book private transportation for the ride.

Tulum is popular for girls trips these days. But...
What does she want to do on the trip? Beach, lounge, pool, outdoor land activities, water activities, trips to historic sites/areas, nice spa, shopping, casual lot eats and drinks, high-end local eats and drinks, shopping, etc.? Do yall want to eat out every meal, cook some, have meals cooked at location.
I'm asking because its hard to find a single place tropical destination (or anywhere) that offers everything without moving around.

Cabo but it's too much like being in the US for my tastes. Even has a freaking shopping mall.

Key West is a good idea
It’s a fun adult vacation town. Very good food. Rent a golf cart for a few days.
