3 days for $179. Prime season day tickets are $150+. This is a steal.
Only a few blackout dates from Christmas through Jan. 7.

I'm actually thinking about visiting this winter for my first ever ski trip. Is this pass worth it for someone who will also need to rent equipment and pay for lessons? Or are there special passes for someone in my situation who needs to rent equipment and pay for lessons. I know absolutely nothing about skiing, lift passes, etc., but after recently visiting Colorado, I'm desperate to see it in the Winter time and finally try my hand at skiing or snowboarding.
Also, is this 3 day pass refundable? It looks like it might be if I cancel by Nov. 15th but the cancellation policy is a bit murky.

I love the 3 day pass special. Bought two of them last year.

I am not totally sure, but I don't think, even with package deals, that you can beat this lift ticket price. It's definitely the best lift ticket deal the Boat has to offer.
Give the ticket office a call and I bet they could answer all questions.
If you're not set on Steamboat, and just wanna make it out to Colorado in the winter, ABasin or Loveland are probably your cheapest mountains to start on. Winter Park is also a good choice. I like to avoid any Vail resorts because of crowds.
