We will be staying at a place right on East 1st Ave basically between Old Town Tavern and Hotel Valley Ho. Noticed Old Town Tortilla Factory is near by.
Really looking for food and cocktails. Plenty of both.
Any other suggestions near by? Prefer to walk. TIA.
Also, is Talking Stick casino a good option to fill an afternoon? It looks like there are a lot of options plus need to be able to watch football on a Saturday.
We will be a party of 6

Went on a Bachelor Party and ate at Orange Sky at Talking Stick Casino. I can't recomend it enough. We had a good time in the Casino a few hours before dinner. Really nice place.

I liked Hula’s Modern Tiki a lot. Fun Hawaiian/Pac Island atmosphere.
Had Mexican at Barrio Queen. Again, good food, cool atmosphere.
Morning Squeeze for breakfast.
Take a car out to Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s retirement home. Awesome tour of an architectural masterpiece that was ahead of its time.
Ton of cool shops in walking distance. Had a great weekend.

Not impressed by Old Town Tortilla Factory. I found their food to be average, but maybe it was an off night.
Craft 64 right there is a must. My favorite pizza joint in the valley.
The Beverly on Main is a cool little cocktail lounge.
Bourbon and Bones for steaks.

I picked Old Town Tortilla because it’s close to our house. Flight lands at 415pm and after luggage, rental car and drive from airport it will be about 530. (830 east coast time for all of us) We will be hungry for anything so I would like to have a decent place picked out beforehand. Total of 6 people so maybe a place where if we have to wait there’s a bar area for drinks and maybe some apps.
Hoping to be within walking distance.
Honestly, cocktails and food in a cool atmosphere.

Totally understand, and like I said, maybe it was an off night. When I went, I wasn't impressed so just passing that along.
Craft 64 is right next door to that and there are several other restaurants in walking distance. Pretty much all of Old Town is an easy walk. And most, if not all, restaurants have a bar area. I’m fact, I’m having trouble thinking of any without that.

Only thing against Craft 64, but this could change, is the wives(no pics) we’re planning on going to Pizzeria Bianco the next day.
