Have you considered an Airbnb closer to Rushmore? We stayed in Custer and had an entire cabin house. Had deer in the yard and rabbits. 5 minutes from the restaurants in Custer.

What area of Custer did you stay in? We’re headed up there this summer, trying to pick a cabin for a couple of nights.

I’ve stayed in the state game lodge in Custer state park before and it was convenient.
