Punta Mita...Anyone ever been? Compare/contrast with Cabo?

Friends have been raving about it for years so contemplating for the spring. Upon quick glance, there is a St Regis, Four Seasons, Auberge, etc. so seems decent.

Stayed at the Imanta there a few years ago. Amazing property with an incredible private beach. Sleepy little area with some decent restaurants.

The area is great. It’s not far from Sayulita which is incredible. Good place to learn to surf too. West coast of Mexico is the best coast.

That’s the best part of Pto/Nuevo Vallarta. There’s a reason the swankiest resorts are there. You should go.

Stayed at the four seasons a few years back. It was nice but it's a long ride from the airport.
