My wife and I are planning a trip to Tennessee the first week of April 2019 for our anniversary.
We plan on doing the dixie stampede and dollywood but looking fofor other ideas to do.
Also any recommendations on cabins.

Cherokee and casino? Could easily day-trip to Biltmore if you've never been. Moonshine tours in Gatlinburg. Pancake Pantry or Apple Barn for breakfast. Eat the fried cheese sticks at the Roaming Gnome if you want to catch a game while out and about.

Last year we stayed at this hotel on the main drag. It was great.

Make sure you spend at least a couple of days hiking in the park. The drive to clingmans dome is really nice too

Alpine coaster was fun. Christmas Place was kinda cool.

Cades Cove is a short drive and is heartbreakingly beautiful in the spring. A way to remember the folks who chose to live there, in a valley, inside the mountains.
