I actually had a suit made when I was in Bangkok for my honeymoon. The jacket was a piece of shite. The pants are great, though. If I did it again I would want something that was better than fused.

Keep these coming dude...

I still have to do my Bangkok review when I get back, that's the one everyone wants to hear about because of the hoores. My next trip will be Moscow and St. Petersburg hopefully, but it will be probably be next year due to work.

I should do a retro review of my Turks trip just to get the info out there.

Im green with envy. Moscow has been on my list for years, always end up going elsewhere...and always end up putting Moscow back at "up next"

I stayed away from the $100 deals and went to a place that was locally recommended and had good reviews on the net, I paid more but was scared of the "cheap deals" places. I am sure some of them are good but didn't want to risk it.

Where the movie The Beach was filmed

Always thought it was ironic how The Beach was about keeping people from his desolate island. It was desolate up until the movie came out and now it's overrun. Still I too want to see it and add to the throngs of tourist.

I asked the guide if it was that busy before the movie and he said no, the beach was much steeper, don't know if they excavated it for the movie or if it was by other means.

I'm going on an 8 week trip starting in June...SE Asia is the first area. I almost included Phuket, but opted to spend that span of time in Myanmar after Bangkok

I will post my Bangkok review in a couple of days, but I wish I hadn't spent so much time here.

Aren't you currently visiting in a rather ungodly time of year in terms of heat/humidity?

I actually paid around $400 for the suit. It was recommended by someone from our hotel (Hilton).

It's not as bad as it will be the next two months, but this year has been usually bad for no rain, in Cambodia they have had almost no rain since October. The best time is Dec-Feb, but then you have a ton more tourists.

Late bump, but I paid significantly more than $100. This was a nice place.

I did this trip a couple years ago. Awesome trip. Liked St. Petersburg much more than Moscow.
