The last time we went we had Laser Wolf which is Israeli and Silk Way which is central Asian. Both were very good. My dad is from Philly, and every family vacation growing up was going up there to see his side. That being said, I've tried all the steak places, and to me, there all just fine. The meat never seems to be flavored enough.

Angelos Pizzeria, Dalessandros or John’s Roast Pork are my 3 favorite cheesesteaks. I would skip Pats/Genos. They’re iconic names but the cheesesteaks aren’t very good.

Reading Terminal Market is an absolute must

We did Angelo’s on our trip last month and it was great. Honestly their pizza might even be better than their cheesesteak. Get both.
Reading Terminal Market is decent but the crowds are unreal on the weekend. Like shoulder to shoulder barely can move. Try to go during the week if able.
We did dinner at Friday Saturday Sunday which is one of 3 Michelin starred places in Philly. It was great. The drinks they serve at their bar downstairs rivaled their food.
