Will be there with the wife and we’ve never been. We are staying at ritz Carlton downtown. Any recs on things to see or do or eat? We’ll see the liberty bell, but no real set plans. Thanks in advance

Independence Hall is fun and right nest to the Bell

Franklin Institute is cool as hell

The Art Museum is one of the best in the world (you can spend multiple days) and you can run the steps like Rocky!

See if there is a concert at the Academy of Music (One of the oldest concert halls in the country) and AMAZING acoustics

Take the wife shopping at the Macy's downtown (building is legit, all marble absurd) and at lunch they have a 45 minute recital everyday with one of the largest organs (The Wanamaker Organ) in the world. Go to the grand hall

Don’t waste your time chasing down a cheesesteak at geno’s or pats. They’re out of the way and the sandwich isn’t worth it. Get a cheesesteak if you must, but don’t waste time that could be spent seeing all the great history.

All the stuff around independence square is really cool, but I think the National Constitution Museum was my favorite part.

We only had a couple hours in there but could have easily spent all day in there. They had a really cool Camelot exhibit with tons of pictures of the JFK admin/family, but it was their feature exhibit that is no longer there.

if you have any interest in art ... definitely check out the Barnes Foundation and the main museum. World class collections.

there is a little restaurant bar i love there called the Good King Tavern. Nice atmosphere and menu.

My wife I were there for the Monday night game last week. There is a great French restaurant right on Rittenhouse square called Parc. We ended up eating there twice. Pretty cool area of town, but admittedly that’s the only area of town we really saw.
