I know you folks with kids in our region don’t have many places for entertainment to bring them for stuff like this. Opened last weekend and seems like based on the area and the price, it shouldn’t have a problem with trash. It’s a Margaritaville thing, so not for everyone, but thought I would share it here.

I'll try the Aerobar if I ever make it to Margaritaville.

$59 plus tax and other charges on the weekend. It’s not a quick drive from Nola, BR, or Mobil.

Do you have some other suggestions? Mine are older so I doubt we go, just thought I would share the suggestion.

No suggestions and I appreciate the post. My first is 2 so just getting into these types of getaways. My only point was it seems entertainment is more and more costly, but all types seem to not think twice about spending the cash to do so.

Their grand opening wasn't so grand. They've already dropped the prices some (was $70/ea previously) and from what I saw, it was a ghost town. Who wants to spend ~$300 for a family of 4 for a few carnival rides? That doesn't even include the sky bar either.

Damn, I didn't know it was originally $70. And yes, this is a little steep. I guess this summer we will see how it all plays out.

They had a power outage the first night too. Once they get the price figured out it will roll. I think this is a phase one project of a bigger resort. The AeroBar is the first of its kind anywhere.
