Heading to Ft Morgan (The Beach Club) July 2-9 and we always like to be through the tunnel on arrival day before 7am so looking for things to do on day 1 this year.

Will be taking the 12yo daughter and her friend and we planned to take them to Flora-Bama for the first time for lunch and was considering renting a pontoon boat from them as well from their marina on Old River.

The rental is 4 hours and was thinking of making a run over to the Wharf and doing the VR Experience they offer, maybe then the girls can do a little shopping then we run back to Bird Island and hang out on the beach and in the shallow water until it's time to return the boat.

Any other suggestions?

Once we check in we don't usually leave alot for things like go-carts, water slides, etc. so this will kind of take the place of all that.

Don’t go to the wharf if you only have four hours with the boat, it can take awhile to get there. Just do that by car if it’s a must. Flora-Bama Yacht Club, Pirates Cove, Robinson Island can easily fill your time.

I'm arriving in Orange Beach on the 8th of July. Didn't know when I booked my rental that the Blue Angels will be performing in Pensacola during that weekend. Might be something your crew might wanna see.
