Three couples and we’ve been doing an annual trip for about 10 years. This year the guys choice is Scottsdale. Next year the girls pick. The guys are going to play golf, at TPC Scottsdale on a Thursday while the girls (no pics) go to Caves Creek. Friday is a day trip to Sedona with a stop at Montezumza’s Castle and back for dinner/drinks that night.
Sunday is always football Sundays.
My question. I want 3-4 ideas on something to add on Saturday. Morning time. I am already putting ATV ride in the desert but want more ideas to let the girls pick what the want to do. TIA

These are more on the educational side but very enjoyable:

The Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix is really cool.

After Sedona, head to Jerome and spend the night there. There’s a historic hotel there, and the entire town is a great place to hang out for the night. It used to be known for booze and whores (and mining). Now it’s just a cool place to hang out. There are a couple of cool saloons, and a few wine bars, one of which is owned by the lead singer of Tool.

His vineyard is called Merkin Vineyards. This is a call-back to a town known for whores, when a pubic wig could gain some john’s confidence that she was relatively clean.

Wives and husbands will both love it.

Thanks for the feedback. We will miss Jerome this time. My family and I have been there. Cool little spot. Yes, it was known for all three of what you mentioned.
Plus the place we are staying in Old Town is pretty off the hook.
I will check those other suggestions

Go hike Camelback Mountain or for a more extreme hike with better views, go hike the Flatiron in the Superstition Mountains. College football starting at 9am until DST (Phoenix doesnt recognize DST so they are either on Mountain Time or Pacific Time in reference to the rest of the country)

Don’t go in October if golf is involved. That’s overseer season and the courses shut down to switch to rye grass
