I am heading to NYC for 4 days later this month. I am willing to take a COVID test before heading there, but frick sitting in a hotel room for 3 of the 4 days I am there. Has anyone else gone and if so, how did it go for you?

That is what I figured. How are hotels handling it?

If anyone asks where you're coming from- "I've been in upstate/western/central NY for the past 2 weeks working remote"

For the travel quarantine form, people are just putting wrong names, phone numbers, etc. Put Cuomo's address for shits and giggles

I've been multiple times since June. Just lie about where you've come from. They have no way of enforcing it unless you help them.

Went Valentines weekend. Flew into LaGuardia. They have you fill out a form, like others have said, just lie on form, say you’re there for work, put wrong cell number. They don’t verify it. Stayed in Times Square, hotel had us fill out same form as airport. Couldn’t lie on it but Hotel clerk didn’t even look at it. Just put it in a pile. You will be fine.

Same. I’ve already booked JFK though. When I contacted the hotel they seemed to not know what I was talking about when asked about quarantining. I’ll be with my 12 year old daughter. Easter break. What do I do with the airline/aiport? Do they give forms? We will test beforehand and I’m vaccinated anyhow.
