Never been to Nassau, but is Atlantis really the only resort currently on the island?

No sir. There's the One and Only on the other end of Paradise Island, plus some super nice houses you can rent.
On Nassau, there are plenty of resorts, but they are just average. Nothing wrong with them, just not high end.

I'm not interesting in staying on any part of that property that isn't under Rosewood control.

Looks nice, but I don’t understand the allure with going to the Bahamas and then staying in a huge place like that. You end up being like a 25 minute walk from your room to the beach because the resort area is so big. Yet you are paying premium prices.

Yeah, the Grand Hyatt portion of the resort is open.

Perfect for a 3 day weekend
I know what type of service I'm going to get at a Rosewood
It will be on Amex Platinum's Preferred Hotels thing
