A few of us are going to Napa at the end of May and we were wanting some suggestions on great wineries and restaurants to check out while there. We will be in Napa from a Wednesday to Sunday so that gives us 3 full days to explore. Our hotel is booked so all we really need to know is where to go to check out great wine and food.
Thanks

just posted in another thread, but Schramsberg was a really cool tour.
Priest ranch has a tasting room in yountville (right up the road from napa)that was really nice. Had the bacon pairing and it didn't disappoint.

Definitely check out Sterling. It sits on top of a hill that looks out over the whole valley.

Will you be staying in the city of Napa or elsewhere in the valley?

I second the Schramsberg recommendation, it was our favorite tour. 2nd oldest winery in the region and the tour is almost completely in their cave system. Kenzo was the most beautiful winery we visited and it was the best wine we had the whole trip. The tour is really intimate and will be just your group. The wine is NOT cheap. Cheapest bottle was $300 (we didnt buy any). Ram's Gate has a nice outdoor seating area, where you can sample their wines and order charcuterie boards. Most wineries do not offer food of any sort.
We stayed in Yountville, so we ate at the restaurants there. Red was fantastic, while Bottega was nothing special. Everything was bland.
Also, I HIGHLY suggest you get a driver when you visit the winery's. The don't play with drinking and driving over there and after just 3 winery's we were sauced.

I really enjoyed the tours at Nickel and Nickel as well as Cakebread Cellars. Ran into a guy in overalls and boots in the back area and had a long conversation about food in NOLA and got to try a bunch of wines right out of the barrel. Turned out it was Jack Cakebread. I didn’t find out until later who I was talking with.
Also ate at Mustards Grill. It was excellent.

Try searching for Napa on this board. It’s a frequently discussed topic that offers more than you’ll ever need to know about Napa after you read them.
