As you enter the building from the tarmac, to your right are the baggage turnstiles, and in front of you, slight to your right, and up against the wall, is a little podium.

They usually have two or three people handing them out.

I always liked Memphis. Charlotte and Denver are nice as well. Judging this by cleanliness, ease of movement, size/crowds, F&B options, and getting to and from. I hate ATL, Miami, Tampa, and Chicago.

Charlotte is quite possibly the worst airport in America. Everything is spread out and dirty. I flew through that airport around 30 times last year and was delayed (many times missing my connecting flight) at least half the times

20 years ago people loved the Charlotte Airport. It out grew it's design when AA took over.

Went down a rabbit hole on google earth looking at airports. There isn't one single plane at any terminal at McCarran. Then I looked at a few more, San Fran, Dallas, Atlanta, O'Hare, all had essentially zero planes on the ground, while LAX had a ton. Seems odd because when I'm at the airport, there are always a good bit of planes waiting at gates.

empty old dinosaur

Walking thru Memphis back in the 90’s there was a guy playing guitar in an abandoned gate. I told my buddy he is either on his way up or on his way down

Baton Rouge Airport has a sentimental place in my heart.

Anyone remember the days before the jetways were installed at BTR? If it was raining you were handed an umbrella to board or deplane and drop it off at the other end. Passengers walked out on the tarmac and boarded using the aircraft stairs

I love the new Dallas Love.

Hobby isn’t terrible for connecting internationally with SWA either. Appreciate all of the Pappas restaurants inside.

I love the Charlotte airport as my home airport. All the terminals are getting freshened up, which it needed. It’ll be better when it’s not a construction zone anymore.

But i can fly direct to just about anywhere, parking is actually not outrageously priced, and 85% of the traffic is connecting passengers, so security is almost always a breeze.

Like Detroit, San Fran, Portland. Hate Denver and if I ever murder someone, it’ll be at LaGuardia. Nothing infuriates me like that place does.
