Yeah, we're trying to go, too. The Hilton has rooms but apparently they're like 300 a night. Luckily, I lived in Austin for 11 years so I'm hoping a friend will offer a guest room or an air mattress or something.

Have you thought of going the Air BnB route?

Yes I just booked the Hilton, free cancelation so if I find something better I'll switch.
I need to look at the ABnB, i have never gone that route before.

Fairmont is brand new.

I think folks like the Van Zandt.

Another option is the remodeled Radisson that's called "The Line".

The Aloft/Element is brand new as well.

Four Seasons on the lake/river looked good to me.

I'll be staying at my house overlooking the Hill Country.

See y'all on campus

I made a social media post about it and the offers started flooding in. I figured it wouldn't be too hard

Book somewhere cheap and downtown. You’ll want to be in the mix, and spend as little time in your hotel room as possible.

Shouldn't be too bad of a walk.

How are you all finding downtown locations? They are all sold out when I go to the hotel websites.

Booked Hyatt Place Arboretum for $160/night, but itd be fun to be downtown.

My thoughts too. Best Western on South I-35 is a budget option and is a good hotel. I stayed there a couple of years ago and it was good. You are about a 5 minute Uber/drive to downtown or South Congress.
