If you have that long of a trip, I’d suggest spending a night or two in Lucerne and a night or two in Interlaken. It will break up the travel and they are great places to explore and take day trips from. We moved around a lot (Zurich to Lucerne to Wengen to Interlaken to Zurich) and the trains make it very easy to get from one to another and do day trips in the area. Enjoy, Switzerland is probably my favorite trip I’ve ever been on.

I’m all for moving around a ton but Mrs jkyle usually tries to cap me @2-3 diff hotels per trip I’m not really opposed to a couple long day trips from Lauterbrunnen. I plan to drive over Zermatt one day for sure to see the Matterhorn. I will say I really love the place I have booked in LB. It’s right in the village with a pretty great view of the big waterfall.
