Late August Pacific Island Honeymoon?

Recently engaged and starting to look at possible honeymoon location for late August next year. It will be most likely a 10 day honeymoon at least, maybe more. I can't sit on a pristine beach for that long. Thinking maybe a pacific island that will give us a little culture and adventure? For example one of my favorite vacations ever was spending a week in Rincon, PR during offseason. Just wild beaches and hanging/drinking with locals. Not crowded. What do yall have for recommendations?
EDIT: Budget is around 10-15k not including airfare. Of course less is better...

Bali.
That was about what our budget was as well for our honeymoon and that's where we went. Absolutely loved it.

If you can go for 14 days, I'd probably consider somewhere like Thailand. I know that's not pacific Island, but I feel like it would cross a lot of your boxes with both exploration, beaches, and activities.
2 weeks really is not that much time. Your big cost is getting there and lodging, possibly food but possibly not. An easy way to cut a cost is to stay in one central location for a long time a week or more.
Keep in mind the seasons though. I don't know the weather there well, but I know when its hot its damn hot in a lot of Asia.

Bali was my first thought honestly, as well as Fiji. Unfortunately I can't stretch to 2 weeks but might be able to do 12 days max which might make Thailand a possibility. I just don't want to move every 2 days. Would like to do 2 or 3 locations for a few days each.

Would that 12 days include travel?

Yes, unfortunately. I'm open to closer locations. I thought about chartering a sailing yacht in the virgin islands but with it being hurricane season, I don't know. Will also push the budget.

Enjoy. We did three weeks in the South Pacific for our honeymoon over 30 years ago and it’s still on my bucket list as a trip to repeat.

Yeah with a 12 day total trip I'd say something closer.
Have you considered doing something like Croatia?

12 days may be doable.
Flew to Bangkok taking 1.5 days I believe, spent 3.5 days there. Flew to Siem Reap and spent 2 full days there. Flew to Phuket and took ferry to island. Spent 4 full days there. Flight back takes only one day as you gain a day crossing international date line.
We had a great time.
You can easily substitute Chiang Mai for Siem Reap, but everyone loves that place so you'd probably want more than 2 days there.
Lastly, I'm not above doing what I want to do. It's your honeymoon, your job, unless your presence is absolutely positively needed, like being lead counsel at trial, is not going to give a shite if it was 12 or 13 or 14 days. I don't buy the argument you will be needed any more over 48 hours. Another week? Sure.
ETA: Croatia is cool too. Haven't been.

You could save a lot of travel time and combine Kauai with another Hawaiin Island.
Or do a coastal South American city and combine it with The Galapagos Islands.

Bora Bora is the gold standard. Moorea is not far behind . Obviously you know how pricey it is although I did it much cheaper than most on Air France out of LA and a lot of shopping resort rates.
The Kauai Grand Hyatt is insanely nice. Very affordable. As is the Princeville St Regis on the north shore by Hanalei. You’d freaking love that . It’s perfect.
Thailand is so cheap it hurts. Premium economy is always available at a good price ( ANA is great ) and you can go to places like Phuket and spend $50 a day and feel like you are living.
10-15 k is a big budget. I’m going to Thailand by myself for two weeks in November and I could enjoy myself and see the sites for well under 3k including airfare. Mine is more of a backpack econotrip than a luxury trip though.
