I will be traveling to Lafayette for work each month for 1 to 3 days at a time.
The trips will be during the week.
I am looking for advice on places to stay that you guys and/or gals would stay at or recommend.
Places that you would eat and frequent for entertainment in the evenings...excluding strip clubs
TIA!

Stay at the Juliet on Jefferson. Lots of things to do downtown and lots of good places to eat

Personally, I really like Fezzos in Scott. Also go check out Parish Brewing over in Broussard. Both are about a 10 minute drive outside of Lafffy.
Dwyers downtown is a nice casual place that does a pretty good brunch (Boudin Benedict).

Thanks again to all that gave me input. I appreciate it greatly!
Of the hundreds of times I have been thru Lafayette I have never strayed far from 167, I10 or I49.
I will now be experiencing the downtown area and thanks to you all I have a great look at what to expect.

I would just stay at the Doubletree (the old Hilton) and be done with it.
I'm not one who's really into 'outside the box' type lodging, when traveling for business, though. I like it for pleasure travel.

I do not. I wouldn't want to stay downtown. It's an easy commute from river ranch area. I make it every day

Looked at Doubletree and it for sure looks like a place to put high on my list.
