January honeymoon in Colorado- recommendations

Not 2019 obviously but looking for things to do/places to stay that are not skiing or breweries.

Vail and specifically a place in Vail Village is very nice. Cool area with lots of cool places to grab a drink. Good restaurants too.

If you're not used to altitude, be super careful when drinking. If you're from south louisiana, every drink will feel about 3 times stronger.

Very good advice. I went there about 8 years ago and drank way too much the first night. The next day I had the worst headache/hangover I have ever had in my life. I missed a whole day of skiing because of this. Rookie mistake.
