God I love that place. Planning to drop all my leave at once and “move” there for a month starting in mid-September. No details yet but probably going to get an Air BnB around Florence then just take “weekend” trips to other places.

Livin' the dream! 
I'd HIGHLY recommend looking into Florence View Apartments.
Right on the Arno River. Easy walk to the sites. Has a roof top that's to die for where you can sit, have some drinks and look out over the city. Self-catering options. Reasonably priced.
