You'll be good on United, it was delta with the issues and they look to be under control now

Here’s my report: we finally made it with no delays or cancelled flights. Air Europa was extremely incompetent and could not find one of our tickets despite me showing them the reservation #, ticket #, etc. in the delta app. Not sure if that was them being dumb or delta screwing up.

Atlanta airport was not too bad. Security line and global entry customs relatively short. Took off on time despite weather in the area. We survived.

Probably mostly.

I was delayed 2 hours in Atlanta for a flight to SLC. Hub to hub.

I was watching the screen in the Sky Lounge and there were not any cancellations but lots more delays than normal.

I submitted a reimbursement form for the American Airlines tix I bought when Delta canceled my flight last Saturday.

Delta says that they will pay the difference, but I have no idea what I am going to get, because I used 44,000 Delta miles to book my two tickets with them (which Delta refunded to me when they canceled my flight), and then I paid AA $698 cash for two tickets. Delta sometimes values their miles at a penny a piece, so I wonder if I will get $258. Or maybe I will end up getting the whole $698. We'll see.
