Excited for the trip. House is ready for us, golf cart booked, sunrises await!

I think I’ll contact my bank to exchange dollars to pesos before I go, is that how to play it?

That’s how I do it. Take your atm card as there are a few on the island. They appreciate you spending pesos instead of dollars so they don’t have to convert.

You will get a better rate if you exchange at a bank or get pesos out of an atm on the isla.

Have fun, we usually go every year in feb-mar as my buddy brings his boat across for the sailfish run. Wonderful little island.

Enjoy the trip. Where are yall staying? Also getting pesos out of the atm over there will be your best bet imo.

I've had a bartender and driver tell me they prefer dollars. They keep them and convert when the peso weakens.

What if I bring both and play my own little exchange rate games?

We got a house called Casa mar Azulejo I think? My folks bailed after paying half so it’s just my small family for the week. Private pool and close to the water

I’ll be in Cancun 1/7-12. Very excited to get out of this house. Wife was looking at one of those sailboat trips over to the island for a day. Otherwise we will be attending three concerts on the beach and relaxing

3 concerts? Tell me more!
Oh damn I just looked at those dates again, I’ll miss them. Looking forward to paying for some fish right out of the water and cooking them at the house

yeah and the resort just sent out a bunch of new COVID restrictions...including cancelling the jungle shite we were going to go do

if anyone has advice on good excursions from Cancun I’d appreciate it. The resort is nice but I’m not really a lay around the pool person. We are staying at moon palace nizuc

If you’d like someone to come cook dinner, brunch, whatever, I highly recommend Sofia of Sofia’s Kitchen. She’s an amazing talent and can help you with anything else on the island. And I mean anything.
