Help with Southwest road trip

I’ve got a trip coming up and with National Parks requiring the tickets, we were only able to get Zion for October 11-12th and then Yosemite for the 14-16th.
I know I’m going to be doing some major driving trying to hit both of those but is there any route anyone could recommend for seeing things on the way? I’m thinking of stopping in Vegas one night and possibly hitting Antelope Canyon/Horseshoe Bend before backtracking.
Any advice would be appreciated

My wife and I were out there 2 weeks ago. Antelope was still closed but we did Buckskin Gulch which is the longest slot canyon in the world according to some. Bryce Canyon is worth a stop if you had time. The North Rim is also worth a day.

If you are planning on stopping in Page and seeing horseshoe bend, I'd say you might be better just skipping vegas and head from page to bryce canyon, then heading west from bryce canyon to wherever you are staying for Zion.
Bryce is well worth seeing on the way.

Thanks both for the replies. Completely forgot how close Bryce Canyon is to right there. Disappointed to hear antelope canyons is closed though!
Also what do you recommend to do on the North rim? I couldn’t find any hikes and it seems like there is no road going in from the north.

Even when antelope isn’t closed, you have to book long in advance to get access

I honestly preferred Bryce over Zion, but I know that’s not the common sentiment.

I recommend sunset or sunrise there. The cape royal road is amazing

I was in both last week (Sat- Weds). Zion is much more crowded but a much larger park. The town of Springdale is really nice whereas Bryce you can see in a day and there is absolutely nothing around it. Strongly suggest the OP visit both.
