The most savage sport in Italy
Calcio Storico
Missed it by one day the last time we went to Italy.
Or hit up the Palio horse race in the Piazza in Siena

Our son will be 18 for this trip, and he is just not feeling it. At all.
May want to advertise drinking age in Europe is 18. In some spots lower for beer and wine.

A lot of the kids that age in the last decade don't want to drink. But boobies are undefeated.

news flash
your 18 yr old son doesn’t want to go to Europe with his parents because he wants to be unsupervised for the week or two you’ll be gone

Keying off the interest in cars. There is a International Trucking Festival in Interlaken, Switzerland in June. Wife and I went there only because our son was playing in a performing band there and she wanted to see the boy performing in the Alps. They use a closed airport and completely line it with trucks - some which look like trucks I only dreamed about. Two miles of steel, tires, and guys wearing big belt buckles they got off Amazon. And damned proud of them too. Huge festival around it. Hats, boots, booty shorts. Funniest thing was Europeans lined up to take their turn on the Line Dance floor! There are little niche things to do if you look. Here is the link for this little side trip: Interlaken
