Flight question

I'm sure this is not possible but figured I'd ask.
So I'm going to be in Portland but need to fly back to Atlanta from Seattle because it's cheaper. The flight I want leaves from Seattle and has a layover back in Portland before going to Atlanta. Is there any way I can just stay in Portland and take the second leg of the flight?

Short answer is no. Long explanation: The only way is if there's some huge delay from SEA-PDX that you find out about the night before your flight. At that point you'd call the airline and tell them that you'll find your way to PDX and to just keep you on PDX-ATL. This is very unlikely to occur though. I'm assuming this is on Delta? They could probably just stick you on a SEA-ATL nonstop flight if it gets delayed

Unfortunately no, but it was a good idea
