Since covid, MLU has converted to larger planes and only 2 flights in and out per day via Delta. In order of hubs and best pricing:
1. Jackson, Ms.
2. Monroe
3. Shreveport
4. Alex
I always start looking months in advance and since Southwest has returned to Jackson, MS - they have become the cheapest Delta flight of the 4 airports.

That’s what I’m talking about. Sprit should be $350 tops. Haha.
To all: I appreciate the the advice to someone that doesn’t fly much at all despite all the downvotes in the original post.
I did find a sun country out of Dallas for $850 which is probably what we will do. Flew with them a few years ago with no problems. We also changed our trip to end of May.
