In Germany now and was in Austria last week. I haven't been asked a single time for proof of vaccinations. The only instance if vaccination status proof has been in the united online check in process.

Beyond that, no hotels, restaurants, museums have asked. Masks have only been needed on transit and in lifts for the zugspitze.

If coming back to USVI from BVI via boat the negative test can be within 5 days. The 24 hour rule is for air travel.

That’s my experience so far. Am in Germany now, too.
