Headed to Disney tomorrow for five park days with the wife and three kids. Anyone been recently and have some tips/advice? We are staying at the Polynesian. We have fast passes planned out and some lunches reserved, but most of our evenings are free.

Also, anyone experienced any airport problems with the shutdown?

Love the Polynesia! Multiple pools. Close enough to walk to the uppty Floridian.

Take it all in. If you have early access to the park use it, and change your FP to other rides.

If you have the meal plan, save your snacks to load up on goodies at the end of your trip(you can redeem them at the hotel).

Flew out of MCO after the syracuse bowl game between Christmas/New Years and the regular security line was at least 30-45 minutes, closer to an hour. Be prepared for that on your way out

Get the Fast Pass and your time there getting on rides will be a lot better. My daughter guided us through a few days on the APP with Fast Pass and we had a blast. Lots of major rides with other rides in between. The APP will show you ride times and other info to help you plan.

You can also order food with the APP if I remember correctly.

Polynesian has their own Dole Whip stand.
Love staying there with monorail access to Magic Kingdom.
