Family trip to Denver for Thanksgiving week. Kids are 7 and 10, any suggestions on things to do?

Denver has a magnificent zoo and natural history museum.

Colorado Rockies or a Denver Broncos game.

Tour the coors brewery in golden.

Catch a concert at red rocks amphitheater.

Ride the ski train to whiter park (if it is open)

Visit the Air Force academy ar pikes peak around Colorado Springs

Take a day trip to Rocky Mountain National park.

Day trip to steamboat springs.

Denver Zoo is great but I prefer the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs if you feel like going down there.

Denver has a really awesome children's museum.

Honestly, I wasn't very impressed with Denver this summer. I would take day trips to Golden, Boulder, Estes Park, RMNP.

There’s a Mint there. Those kids are a good age to visit there. I can’t remember how you get tickets, but it’s something you have to plan ahead. They only allow a certain amount of people ahead of time.

Thanksgiving is not a great time to be honest. It’s likely going to be cold but not much snow.

Still for a southerner, there will be plenty to keep you busy. Great area.
