Dalmatia, Croatia, mid-June trip, any must sees

Solo tripping in Dalmatia mid-June, beginning in Split for two days, two on Brac, and 4 on Hvar before heading to Dubrovnik for 3 days. Going to devote 1 day apiece for family research in local churches and archives in Split, Brac & Hvar, but looking for any other must-sees in any of those 4 places. Plitvice and Krka lakes national parks will be hit up another time. Not looking for any euro-trash yacht week parties, either, I grew up in Biloxi, had enough of that before I turned 21 .
Any suggestions appreciated

Trogir, 20 minutes or so north and west of Split was nice. Small town on an island. Sort of on the way to Dubrovnik are Ston and Mali Ston. We stopped there for lunch on our drive from Split.

Definitely thinking of visiting Mali Ston while in Dubrovnik on one of their big cruise ship visit days (to avoid the crowds), I heard those oysters are awesome .

Trogir was a good suggestion for a day trip from Split.
4 days on Hvar seems a bit too much. You should check out the city of Stari Grad while on Hvar. It is one if the oldest cities in Europe. There is a cool museum there showing artifacts from pre-Greek, Greek, and other cultures who inhabited the island. If you are there on a Tuesday or the other week day the direct ferry to Vis operates, take a trip to Vis. Vis was my favorite island. While in Vis, Split, or Hvar town, you can get charter boats to the Blue Cave on Bisevo Isl. or the Green Cave on Vis.
Take a late afternoon in Dubrivnik and do a wall tour in Dubrovnik, or GOT tour, or go to Lokrum Island.
Croatia is the bomb and I will go back for sure.

Thanks for the suggestions, I added Trogir and Klis fortress to the Split itinerary. I’ll be homebased in Starigrad three of the four days on Hvar (that’s where my peeps are from) with the final day in Hvar town, so Vis looks like a great possibility

You've got the right idea going to Krka and Plitvice, maybe hit up the sea organ in Zadar if you're passing by.
Head out from Hvar to Palmizana (you can hire a water taxi on the riva) and go to Laganinni restaurant, amazing.
KIVA BAR, tell Max and Leo hey.
Eta: Hula Hula Beach Bar on Hvar as well.
Eat at Bokkamora and Dvor in Split, drink at the Sanctuary and Ghetto Bar. Get chevapi for some drunk food. Joe's Beach Bar is a great spot as well, and you can go cliff jumping there. Go walk around the Green Market for fresh fruit and vegetables.
Enjoy some cold Karlovacko and Rakija and give the ladies at the Tommy a "Dobar Dan". Croatia might be the best place on earth

Thanks for the rec’s
By the way, what’s the normal going price for water taxis for short rides out of Hvar? I have found prices all over the place.

We only took one charter out of Hvar in July 2017. That was to Vis and was under very special circumstances. Super high summer winds had cancelled the ferries to and from Split one morning, so we talked a local charter company into taking 5 of us to Vis for about 40 euro (not kuna) each.
It was a long and bumpy ride, but it saved us most of our first day in Vis. The high winds did cancel our Blue Cave tour though.
