Going to Ohio State and Notre Dame game labor day weekend. Group of us wondering what are the must places to go eat and bars to be at throughout the weekend?

Any of the Cameron Mitchell restaurants are great. The Pearl is my favorite. Enjoy! Sadly I won’t be there that weekend or I’d invite you to our tailgate.

What places near the stadium on gameday to go grab drinks and watch other games through out the day?

I've only been to Columbus once, but German Village and Short North were the two neighborhoods I spent time in. A lot of fun bars/restaurants.

Arena District is another place to stay with bars and restaurants.

Varsity club is on Lane Avenue but is guaranteed to be packed to the gills.

You can walk down High street there will be a lot of bars. I will say they have cut down on the "fun" of gamedays lately.

Should be a good day to be there. First game of the season with a top matchup should be electric

Jeni's Ice Cream is popular in Columbus.

If you have time, German Village has some good food - my favorites are Schmidt's and Thurman's.

The North Market is interesting and worth checking out if you have any time.
