Christmas trip with young kids

Looking for a trip over Christmas with 3 kids under 5. They are still too young for Disney. Was thinking the beach but besides playing in sand and an indoor pool, there won't be much else. Was thinking the mountains but if it's too snowy we will be inside most of the time. Any suggestions?

Great Wolf Lodge! Look for the thread on it! My kiddos loved it at your kids ages!

This is not true at all. My daughter is 5 and remembers her trip at 2.5 and absolutely loves disney. She has been 3-4 times as we live in Fl. Given that, I wouldn't go to Disney around Xmas.

What is too snowy? If they don't have snow gear certainly. But little kids absolutely love snow.
It sounds like you should head somewhere like Gatlinburg in the mountains but where they don't get much snow.

The best trip I took to Disney my kids were all under 5. Maybe I love my kids more than you do but that was fun. Going to disney for Christmas is a dumb idea though because of the crowds and if you haven’t booked it yet you’re obviously not aware of how much planning goes into a trip there.
I’d take them to the mountains somewhere. Let them see some snow. We have even enjoyed the beach a few times with kids and got lucky with the weather and a heated pool.

We went to Cancun for Thanksgiving and the kids loved it. Not sure if it’ll be colder for Christmas but it was plenty warm enough to swim at the beach and pools. We also did Tulum (which i’d skip) and Xelha (which they loved). Stayed at an all inclusive resort, price really wasn’t too bad. Booked the whole package on Travelocity.

Where did you stay in Cancun with the kids?

I took my daughter to Disney at 3.5 and she remembers more details about it than me. In fact, this Christmas, she asked if Christmas was over. I said yes. She said, but we didn't go to Disney world. I guess she thought that Disney was going to be part of Christmas every year.
